Here's an interesting combo:
I am type B+ and I'm a vegetarian? So how do I get past all the meet recommendations?

Re: B+ & Vegetarian
Wed, April 13, 2005 - 10:52 PMActually there aren't that many meat recomendations. The only meats that are considered benificial for type B are Lamb, Mutton, Rabbit and Venison. Of course there are many more that are neutral, but that doesn't mean that they are 'recomended'.
So I guess you could get past that by just not eating them... Focus on the beneficial and neutral grains, fruits and veggies. Of course you allways need to pay attention to your protien consumption and soy products can help with that. The book says (if I'm remembering correctly) that some types of soy products, like soy milk are good for you while others - not so much- like the actual beans, I think.
Good luck :) -

Re: B+ & Vegetarian
Thu, June 2, 2005 - 11:16 PMThank you for the insight and input. I haven't had any meat now for 3 years, and I've been a vegetarian for 11 years of my life. I definitely pay attention to protein consumption - my main sources of that being soy, flax, various types of nuts and beans. What are the soy products to avoid, any other suggestions of foods for B+ and Veg? Thank you so kindly.
